lucky No.13 - aluminium’s place in the periodic table

The day I discovered aluminium changed my life. Not the element itself (I failed Chemistry), but the day I realised I could use it to create art. I use brushed aluminium for much of my work, which gives the piece an etched appearance. The metallic finish picks out intricate details perfectly, like the patterns of a building or the details of a design, and makes colours extra vivid.
