The American baseball is a design icon, assuming its modern incarnation in the 1870’s. I love it’s simple pattern, everyone knows what it is in its most stripped back form.
This piece was created from my original photograph of an actual ball used in a Major League game.
The image was digitally colored in the New York Yankee colors, and printed on a circular sheet of brushed aluminum.
