Ceres Statue (box-framed aluminium), £650
46 x 33 x 5 cm, edition of 25, £650
Created from my original photograph of the statue crowning the Chicago Board of Trade building. Ceres, the Goddess of Agriculture,is faceless because sculptor John Storrs thought the building was so tall no-one would ever see her face.
I’ve coloured my photograph with vivid green and bold pink to highlight the statue’s copper exterior and elegant Art Deco shape. Printing the image on brushed aluminum picks out the statue’s detail as the light catches the outlines.
Completed with a thick black aluminum box-frame.
Please note: ‘Ceres Statue (box-framed)’ is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in 10-14 days.
