Empire State (close-up)

We often miss the details on the tops of buildings. The Empire State Building is one of my favourite 'tops'! I love the mix of art deco design, repeated patterns and some modern technology (satellite dishes etc).
This piece, created from an original photograph taken from the top of The Summit, was digitally coloured and printed on brushed aluminium. This gives the image an etched effect, mimicking the metal and picking out the details of the Empire State.
