I was mesmerised by the unusual shape and repeated patterns of the Capitol Building, one of the world’s most iconic recording studios. This piece was created from an original photograph taken while hanging out of a helicopter. It is coloured digitally by hand and printed on brushed aluminum, which brings out the details of the design and gives it an etched appearance. The image is floated in a hand-painted white wood frame.
