Little Los Angeles, Norms (green)

£280.00
Limited Edition

26 x 16 x 4 cm, edition of 30

From my Little Los Angeles collection: ‘celebrate the big city with a little piece of art.’

It's not just the steak and eggs that I love about Norms - its the restaurant’s abstract shapes and jagged edges too. Another of my favourite pieces of Googie architecture, a style influenced by car culture. These restaurants were designed to look like car showrooms with booths resembling bucket seats.

This piece is created from an original photograph of the oldest surviving Norms opened on La Cienega Boulevard in 1957. The image is digitally coloured with bright vivid colours and printed on brushed aluminium to honour its wonderful heritage and floated in a hand-painted wood frame.

Little Los Angeles, Norms (green) is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 2 weeks. It is also available with a purple background.
