From my Little Los Angeles collection: ‘celebrate the big city with a little piece of art.’
On a recent visit to Venice Beach I was fascinated by the undulating shapes of the skate park's concrete as the skateboarders dipped in and out. This piece is created from an original photograph and digitally coloured by hand. Printing the image on a small sheet of brushed aluminium brings out the vibrant colours and contrasts beautifully with the concrete. The image is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
