Lloyd's Building 2
91 x 68 cm, edtion of 25, £950
I’ve always loved the Lloyd’s Building - after all, it’s made of metal - what’s not to like! Richard Rodger’s modern masterpiece, completed in 1986, the youngest structure ever to be awarded listed status. For this piece I left my original photograph untouched and unaltered, exactly as I saw it on the day it was taken. It is printed on a thin sheet of brushed aluminium which reflects the building’s real metal exterior. A vivid pink sky contrasts strongly with the silver finish.
Lloyd’s Building is made to order. It can usually be created and deliverd in around two weeks.
