London Taxi (box-framed)

I believe that if you can tell what something is solely by its outline that is the mark of brilliant design. The London taxi is one of my favourite examples. Its shape is iconic.
This piece was created from an original photograph. I stripped the photograph back leaving a few edges to show its beautful lines and curves. The image is printed on brushed aluminium, leaving metallic silver lines tracing the taxi’s shape.
Completed with a thick black aluminium box-frame.
