The gigantic Art deco beauty spans two city blocks, and was the largest building in the world when it opened in 1930, so large it used to have its own zip-code.
The image is created from my original photograph, and digitally colored. It is printed on brushed aluminum, which gives the piece an etched appearance, and picks out the gorgeous patterns and intricate details.
I’ve used a vivid fuschia color for the sky contrasts with the building, emphasizing it’s mammoth size.
