SALE: NATIONAL THEATRE (blue sky, 2): 37% OFF: £600
SALE: 68 X 91 cm, 37% OFF: £600
Please note: this piece has a tiny tiny tiny mark ding on one side (see picture) - almost impossible to spot if you don’t know it’s there.
The National Theatre on London's South Bank is one of the biggest inspirations for my art. Every time I walk past I notice new angles and shapes. The simple Brutalist block shapes lend themselves to my style of work.
The piece is created from an original photograph of one of my favourite views of the theatre, taken from Waterloo Bridge, with the Shard poking out in between the brutalist blocks. The image is digitally coloured by hand and printed directly onto super-thin brushed aluminium, which brings out the concrete texture, which contrasts nicely with the bright blue sky.
