Oxo Tower (concrete)

£2,900.00
Limited Edition

100 x 70 cm, a variable edtion of 15, £2,900

The Oxo Tower has always been one of my favourite buildings in London. The landmark was originally built in the late eighteenth century and largely rebuilt to an Art Deco design in the twenties. I love its elegant shape and the cheeky inclusion of the O-X-O letters to bypass strict advertising laws at the time!

The image of the tower is created from an original photogtaph and spray-painted in neon pink directly onto the concrete surface. Rusted steel bars, like those you see on a construction site, strengthen the core of the piece and double up as the hanging device too.

Oxo Tower is made to order. It is quite complex to construct but it can usually be create and delivered in around 6 weeks. Each edition will feature the same image of the Oxo Tower, but the make-up of the concrete will vary, making each piece unique.
