The art deco beauty opened in 1930, with 2503 rooms starting at $3.50 a night! Despite a slight price rise it is still stunning. I love it’s block shapes and repeated patterns.
The piece is created from my original photograph, digitally colored, and printed on brushed aluminum. I’ve used a vivid blue sky to contrast with the gritty grey concrete. Completed with an aluminium box-frame.
