On a recent visit to Venice Beach I was fascinated by the undulating shapes of the skatepark's concrete as the skaters dipped in and out.
This piece is created from an original photograph and digitally coloured by hand.
The image is printed on a super-slim sheet of brushed aluminium, giving it an etched appearance. The metallic finish brings out the vibrant colours and, contrasting beautifully with the concrete.
Completed with a thick aluminium box-frame.
