Wrigley Building

The Wrigley Building built in 1921 is one of my favourite buildings in Chicago. I love its intricate design and repeated patterns of the exterior which make it perfect for my style of art.
This piece is created from my original photograph and digitally coloured. I've used bright bold colours to sandwich the building and to highlight the river Taxi, and to give the piece a pop-art feel.
The image is printed on a super-slim sheet of brushed aluminium which brings out the colours and gives it an etched appearance.
