National Theatre (teal, brushed aluminium)

The National Theatre on London's South Bank is one of my favourite artistic muses. Every time I visit I notice new angles and shapes. The simple Brutalist block shapes lend themselves to my style of art. This is one of my favourite angles – it almost seems to be 3-D here.
The piece is created from an original photograph and printed directly onto a super-thin sheet of brushed aluminium. The metal brings out the vivid colour of the sky contrasting it beautifully with the building’s stark grey concrete.
National Theatre (teal) is available with a teal, yellow, or pink sky. An edition is also available with the individual blocks filled with bright colours.
The piece is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 2 weeks. An aluminium subframe on the back making it simple to hang.
