Little London, National Theatre (pink)
14 x 4 x 28 cm, edition of 30
From my Little London collection: ‘Celebrate the Big Smoke with a little piece of art.’
The National Theatre on London's South Bank is one of my favourite artistic muses. Every time I visit I notice new angles and shapes. The simple Brutalist block shapes lend themselves to my style of art. This is one of my favourite angles – it almost seems to be 3-D here, poking out of the piece.
The piece is created from an original photograph and printed directly onto super-thin brushed aluminium. The metal brings out the vivid pink colour of the sky contrasting beautifully with the stark grey concrete. The image is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
Little London, National Theatre is available with a pink yellow, or teal sky. This piece is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 2 weeks.
Also available in other colours.
