Another of my favourite views of the London skyline taken from Frank's Cafe, a rooftop restaurant on the top of a carpark in Peckham, South London. I love it because it contains different eras of London; from 1950s houses to 1970’s flats to the modern skyscrapers.
This piece is created from the original photograph, digitally coloured by hand, and printed on a small sheet of brushed aluminium. This gives it an etched appearance and picks out the beautiful details of the buildings and skyline. The image is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
