I don’t know why I let this happen, but I only visited Barcelona for the first time in 2019! I was blown away by its vibrant colour, rich history and a staggering nine UNESCO world hertiage sites. It’s the perfect city for a history buff like me and an architectural lover’s paradise, with Gaudi’s genius at its heart. The Sagrada Familia is one of wonders of the world - under construction for almost 140 years, so far!

Barcelona is blessed with so many stunning landmarks but this one, the Basílica de la Sagrada Família, really has to be seen to be believed. The Catholic church was the brainchild of architectural genius Antoni Gaudi who combined Gothic and Art Nouveau ideas in the spectacular design. Construction began in 1882 and incredibly still continues to this day!
This piece was created from an original photograph, digitally coloured, and printed on a thin sheet of brushed aluminium. This gives it an etched appearance and highlights the stunning details of the basilica.
Sagrada Familia is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 10-14 days. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it incredibly easy to hang.
