Bean There, Done That 2
80 x 74 cm
On a recent visit to Chicago I spent many hours watching people interact with Cloud Gate, Anish Kappoor's stunning art installation in Millennium Park. Nicknamed 'The Bean' it really seemed to capture the public's imagination.
This piece is created from my original photograph and digitally coloured. I've used bright bold colours to highlight the people enjoying the sculpture even in its reflection, and to give it a pop-art feel.
The image is printed on a super-slim sheet of brushed aluminium which brings out the colours and gives the skyline an etched appearance.
NOTE: This piece has the most tiny speck ever on it, less than the size of the end of a ballpoint pen! But I’m a perfectionist, so I’m offering it at £750, two hundred pounds off its normal price.
