Summer in Sydney

Sale Price:£500.00 Original Price:£950.00
Limited Edition
sale

62 x 87 cm

Revellers enjoy a summer drink outside the Sydney Opera House. When I first visited Sydney I instantly fell in love with the Opera House. I became obessed with it’s sail-shaped design, and the texture of the surface. I had never realised it was made up of so many tiles - over a million in total. I think that if you can recognise a building from its shape that is the mark of a great design. And the Opera House is one of the best examples of this.

This piece is created from an original photograph, digitally coloured and printed on brushed aluminium. Printing on metal gives the image an etched effect and picks out the intricate pattern of the tiles.

Now only £500!
