World Piece (gold aluminium)

Throughout the pandemic I thought a lot about connections with the world. I had family living in New York and Singapore so I’d unable to see them in over year. And I really missed travelling.
This piece was triggered by all these thoughts. It features some of my favourite landmarks from around the world. The main image is created from my aerial photograph of London, taken on a helicopter trip with the doors off.
To create a feeling of connections throughout the world - after all, we were/are all going through the pandemic at the same time - I have placed famous landmarks from around the world into my main image of London.
Think of it as a sort of jigsaw puzzle - it might take you a while but you'll find them in the end! There are 19 'new' landmarks in the main image.
NOTE: I’ll be honest with you - I printed this piece on gold aluminium by mistake! (I normally use silver aluminium). But I really like it. But I’m not planning to create a gold series, hence the incredible price of jusst £500
