The Chrysler Building (brushed aluminium)
The Chrysler Building - the beautiful 1930’S Art Deco masterpiece and probably my favourite building in Manhattan (alongside Grand Central Station). Its repeated patterns, glimmering steel exterior and gorgeous fan-like spire make it the perfect subject for my art.
This piece was created from an original photograph, digitally coloured by hand, and printed on a slim sheet of brushed aluminium. This give the image an etched appearance which brings out the Chrysler’s detail and contrasts strongly with the vivid blue sky.
The Chrysler Building is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around two weeks. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it incredibly easy to hang.
