One of the many things I love about London is people watching. City life is a blur of different colours as we all rush here and there. This piece was created from an original photograph of commuters waiting for their trains home at Liverpool Street Station.
Each person, and the departure and arrivals board, was painstakingly coloured by hand in a variety of colours to illustate the melting pot of people in the metropolis. The image is printed on a slim sheet of brushed aluminium, which brings out the vivid colours.
Going Home is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 10-14 days. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it incredibly easy to hang.
