From my ‘Little London’ collection: ‘Celebrate the Big Smoke with a little piece of art’.
This piece was created from my original photograph, digitally coloured and printed on brushed aluminium. The matt metallic finish gives it an etched appearance and makes the colours even more vivid.
I like the composition of this image because it is split into three part: the iconic fountains in the foreground, and a queue of people snaking their way towards the beautiful Portrtait Gallery. Colouring the people in the middle places a separate emphasis on the two famous sights in the image.
The piece is floated in a hand-painted white wood frame.
