SALE: One of Four (Battersea Power Station chimney), £400

Sale Price:£400.00 Original Price:£950.00
Limited Edition
sale

91 X 68 cm, £400, usually £950

On sale until February 15th. One edition available.

This piece has a few scuffs on it (see pictures below). if you can live with the marks you’ve got yourself a great bargain.

The iconic Battersea Power Station chimneys have dominated the South London skyline since the 1930’s when the first two were built. Demolition beckoned due to the damage after decades of exposure to sulphur. But the first of the new chimneys was completed in 2017 with 25,000 wheelbarrows of concrete - an exact replica of the original.

Their elegant shape, simple lines and curves, and the lovely tone of the chimney’s 375 litres of Light Ivory paint make them a work of art in themselves.

This piece was created from an original photograph, digitally coloured, and printed on brushed aluminum which gives the chimney a lovely shimmer along its lines. The concrete contrasts strongly with the vivid pink/fuschia sky.

One of Four is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 10-14 days.
