From my Little Apple collection: ‘Celebrate the Big Apple with a little piece of art’.
I've always been a fan of the beautiful facade of the historic Bloomingdales department store. And I love the city’s yellow cabs too, especially with the 'Ride Yellow' campaign slogan on its roof - a reminder of New York’s feisty character.
The piece was created from an original photograph and painstakingly coloured by hand digitally, before being printed on a small sheet of brushed aluminium, which gives it an etched appearance. The aluminium is floated in a hand-painted white wood frame.
Little Apple, Ride Yellow is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 3 weeks.
