As you’ve probably already seen from my other pieces I am a huge fan of the National Theatre, one of London’s most famous Brutalist landmarks. I love its block shapes and wonderful angles. This piece was created from an original photograph, digitally coloured, and printed on a gorgeous piece of birch wood, with delicious wafer-like layers. Printing on wood really brings out the patchy texture of the building’s concrete.
