SALE: Ten Past Ten (Big Ben), £700
110 x 110 cm, £700, usually £1,450
On SALE until February 15th. One edition available.
Please note: There are a couple of small scratches on this piece, as you can see from one of the pictures below. If you can live with those ‘Ten Past Ten’ is available for a knockdown price.
I’ve been obessed with the beautifully intricate patterns on Big Ben’s iconic clockface for a long time. I find it quite hypnotic to look at them, a bit like those 3-D puzzles.
This piece is created from an original photograph and then each segment is painstakingly coloured digitally by hand - I hadn’t realised it contained so many different shapes and patterns - I do now!
I coloured the different shapes in a variety of bold bright colours, which helps to highlight the clockface’s complex, gorgeous design. The piece is printed on a slim circular sheet of brushed aluminium.
