Westminster Abbey (brushed aluminium)

£950.00

91 x 66 cm, edition of 25, £950

Westminster Abbey - one of London’s many historical gems. And one of the most impressive architecturally I think. The gothic Abbey that we see today was begun by Henry III in 1245. It has witnessed 39 coronations and is the final resting place of 17 monarchs, as well as Isaac Newton and Charles Dickens.

But it is the incredibly detailed and intricate design that makes it a perfect subject for my art. This piece is created from an original photograph, digitally coloured, and printed on a super-slim sheet of brushed aluminium. Printing on brushed metal really brings out the exquisite details, giving it an etched appearance.

Westminster Abbey is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 10-14 days. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it incredibly easy to hang.
